The world has lost a good soul in Pope Francis. He led the Church courageously and with vision. His passing Easter Monday reminds us so powerfully of the message of resurrection and the hope we all have in Jesus. Loving God, 
We thank You for the gift of Pope Francis— 
for his steady witness, bold compassion, 
and deep love for Your people. 
May we carry his spirit forward 
in how we serve, how we speak, 
and how we live. 
Comfort those who mourn, 
and unite us in hope.
