Gesu Summer Upgrades

As is often true in the summer, we have been working on multiple improvements across our campus. The Bulldog Gym has a new roof through the generosity of a gracious benefactor. We have patched and painted the Marian Chapel, the Priests and Servers Sacristies and the Parish Office, all of which look spectacular and fresh. A new statue of St. Ignatius has been installed at the side entrance of the Church. Also because of generous benefactors, landscaping improvements have begun at the front of the parish center which include plantings and a patio, so the staff and community may enjoy an outdoor gathering space. The success of last spring’s Mardi Gras fundraiser and the generosity of the McDonough family have allowed us to complete a full renovation of the third floor of our S.T.R.E.A.M. Center (the former convent in the school). This new area houses offices, a math enrichment classroom and a tutoring space and is an exciting addition and improvement to our school. We thank the staff members involved in shepherding these projects and all those who helped make them possible!
