Walk with Jesus

April 10

On this Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion, we are transported in our reflections to the place, the sights, and the sounds of the events surrounding this compelling story. We prayerfully share in the emotions and actions that accompany Jesus’ suffering and crucifixion. Also, we are blessed to have the hope and trust that comes with anticipating the resurrection and joy of Easter. Let us ask for the grace to apply the words of Jesus when he cries out to the Father: “not my will but yours be done.” Let us walk with Jesus during this coming week. Let us reflect on what crosses we have been called to bear and how we can help others carry their crosses. Can we place our cares and concerns in God’s hands, trusting in his providence as we journey toward the Resurrection? Will we experience the real spiritual growth that comes as grace from God’s mercy and love, so that Easter will truly be a time to rejoice?
