#WeGiveCatholic

Tuesday, December 3 is the day for #WeGiveCatholic and Gesu Catholic School is participating in this special Giving Day! We hope you will help us raise important dollars for our community. This year our focus is to raise money for Better Classrooms for a Brighter Future

Our vision for this year is to refresh and renovate some of our classrooms. The main classroom areas of our school were built in 1940 and 1962. Our parish has done an outstanding job maintaining these nearly 80 and 60 year old spaces for the generations of Gesu students who have used them over the decades.

As Gesu moves forward with student-directed learning and an emphasis on 21st century skills, our physical spaces need to continue to move forward as well. This requires flexibility of furniture and technology, as well as areas for collaborative learning and independent study. Students need spaces to foster inspiration and creativity. Interactive boards and white boards will replace blackboards, and furniture that can easily be maneuvered to accommodate different learning experiences will replace rows of desks. Many of our classrooms are in need of capital improvements such as new paint, flooring, furnishings and technology. In order to keep Gesu a front-runner in Catholic and private education, and in an effort to offer our teachers and students the most conducive learning environment, we are asking for your support with #WeGiveCatholic.

Our goal for December 3 is to raise $10,000 or more through #WeGiveCatholic. Our goal is attainable if we all participate in this special day. Whether you give a gift of $25 or $250, it will make a positive impact. Please consider helping Gesu Catholic School! Your tax deductible gift will have a lasting effect on our school!

All you need to do is visit the WeGiveCatholic.org website on your computer, tablet or smartphone. Online giving is available beginning at midnight on December 3 and continues for 24 hours.

On behalf of the 720 students at Gesu - THANK YOU for considering a gift today!
