Jim is a native Clevelander and a member
of Gesu parish with his wife, Susan, since 1982. Their two
children are graduates of Gesu School and still remain proud
Clevelanders. That delights both Jim and Sue who are busily
spoiling the next generation of two grandchildren so far.
Jim
is a graduate of John Carroll University and the Ohio State
University College of Medicine. After a stint for training
and service in the Navy, including the submarine force, Jim
and his family returned to Ohio and he is currently on staff
in the Nuclear Medicine division of the Radiology department
at University Hospitals where he is also an associate professor
at Case Western Reserve University.
Ordained a permanent deacon for service in the Diocese of
Cleveland by Bishop Anthony Pilla in 1990, Jim was assigned
back to the pastoral staff at Gesu where he has remained. His
primary ministries involve the RCIA program and sacramental
preparation for Baptism. He has also served at the diocesan
level as a member of the Diaconate staff and as coordinator
of continuing diaconate education.
